Marta has completed 3 lessons to date with my daughter and three other children. So far we have been very impressed. Although Marta does not hold teaching qualifications (a matter which she was completely up-front with us about), I did not see this as an issue - she is a Spanish national and speaks fluent Spanish but, what we were looking for above all was for a tutor to develop a positive relationship with the children and to enthuse them about the language. Marta has done both - the children are really engaged in her lessons, she arrives well prepared and obviously has thought through the structure of her lessons in advance. She also quickly got to grips with the levels of the children (one has a Columbian mum, so already speaks some Spanish but the others were pretty much starting from scratch). We hope this arrangement will continue and that the children continue to develop their interest and ability in Spanish (my daughter has already taken out a book on Barcelona from the library - as this is the city where Marta is from!).
