Find An Expert Spanish Tutor For Learners In Barbican

Solandza tutored my twins, Sam and Joe in Spanish, twice a week from Easter until June when they took their GCSEs. They both felt they needed extra support and I could see they needed confidence, as the content was voluminous. Through their work with Solandza they both achieved grades they had not achieved before - one boy moved from 6 in his mocks, to a high 8, and the other from a 7 to a 9!!! We are delighted and incredibly grateful - this tutoring was transformative. We, and they, would highly recommend lessons with Sol.

very friendly and patient!

Eloise is very patient and always prepared for her lessons, my daughter is enjoying them and learning the a level syllabus at a good pace.

Maria is a fantastic tutor, i have made leaps and bounds in a short space of time and it made a huge difference to the last time i went to Spain, which was just recently, and i spoke more than ever before. She has a positivity and energy that makes the lessons something that i really look forward to and enjoy. Highly recommend.

Thanks to Maria's tutoring, my daughter received an 8 in her Spanish GCSE! This was better than she'd been expecting and Maria's help and support was key.

Excellent tutor! Helped my son get a Grade 9 in his GCSE

I received Spanish lessons from Temi for nearly 2 years during year 12/13 as I took it for GCSE but not A-level. I really enjoyed the language and wanted to keep it up to potentially do it alongside my degree or get my B1/2. Temi has made the absolute most out of our lessons, she was able to adapt to my learning pace and keep lessons fun and interactive which was super important for me as I was learning for my own interest. She has also improved my understanding of grammar and tenses hugely, which is a testament to her own skills as we weren’t following a set curriculum. She used a huge amount of resources such as conjuguemos, lyrics training and BBC Mundo to target grammar, listening and reading and was able to adapt her lessons based on my input and what I wanted to work on. My confidence in spontaneous conversation has also grown as she always took an interest in what I was doing/what shows I was watching and would ask me to write about them or discuss them with her to keep me on the ball. No question ever felt too silly to ask and no lesson was boring, if you are looking for someone with a huge amount of passion for what she does, whether it is for Spanish or one of her other subjects, Temi is absolutely who you need!

Holly was amazing at supporting my son through his recent Spanish GCSE. His confidence and ability grew significantly as well as receiving excellent support in preparing for the exams. Thank you Holly.
