Izzy is an absolutely amazing singing teacher, I started having lessons as an inexperienced, I intermediate singer and withing the first two lessons I could already hear a difference in my singing. I’ve had three singing lessons with Neil and in that short time I feel I’ve made great progress. I’ve had singing lessons before and have sung in choirs and Neil’s method is very different and much more effective. He has busted many myths about how to sing and I have found this immensely helpful and find that I am able to sing more naturally and I’m in the process of discovering a more authentic style of singing.
Neil has introduced me to new vocal techniques and the idea of singing as a means of communication. We have also covered the Four Stages of Competence, warm up techniques and the importance of posture.
Neil is very experienced and thorough and has a friendly, warm and engaging style of teaching. I feel that I have made the right choice when choosing Neil and have found the lessons with him utterly transformative!
