I am providing this review after my daughter's 1st lesson with Michael. I have a check list to decide during the 1st lesson if a teacher is the correct one for my daughter. This includes: Ice breaker activities to create rapport with the child, allowing my child enough time to think, approach to address my child's mistakes and attitude when my child does not know the answer. I will give Michael 5 out of 5 in all of them. I am very happy we found him and looking forwards to carry on working with him on the weeks ahead.

My 10 year old daughter has had two online tutoring sessions with Michaela so far, with the plan to have once weekly to help prepare her for SATS and build her confidence in areas that she struggles with. We are really impressed by Michaela. Our daughter was instantly happy with her due to her calm, caring and friendly approach. She's clearly incredibly experienced and knowledgeable.
She assessed her strengths and weaknesses and organised lessons to work on the latter. She explains things really well and my daughter feels listened to and is given time to consider and correct herself. She's already learnt so much in just two sessions so we are looking forward to seeing our daughter's progress.
