Brilliant Psychology tutors who you’ll really click with.
Our experienced tutors take the time to understand where each student needs to focus and their preferred way of learning. They make a measurable difference – 90% of all students improve by at least one grade.
My child is at Prince Henry's High School. Can a tutor help them stand out in A-level Psychology?
Absolutely. We know the environment at Prince Henry's is competitive. A one-to-one online tutor can provide the targeted support needed to excel, focusing on advanced essay techniques, critical evaluation skills, and exam strategies that help students rise to the top of a high-achieving class.
We're aiming for a top university like Warwick or Oxford. Do your tutors have experience with this?
Yes, many of our tutors are graduates from top universities themselves and have extensive experience helping students with their applications. They can help your child develop the deeper understanding and analytical skills that admissions tutors at prestigious universities are looking for in Psychology candidates.
How can an online tutor help my child compete with other ambitious students in the Evesham area?
Online tutoring gives your child an advantage by providing access to a wider pool of specialist talent than is available locally. We connect students in Evesham with top Psychology tutors from across the UK, including A-level examiners and subject experts who can offer insights and techniques that make a real difference.
Is online tutoring as effective as in-person for a subject like Psychology?
Yes, and for many it's even better. Our online platform uses interactive whiteboards and screen sharing, which are perfect for analysing research studies and planning essays together. Plus, the convenience of learning from home in Evesham means your child can be more relaxed and focused, with access to the best UK tutors, not just those nearby.
What happens if my child doesn't click with their first Psychology tutor?
Finding the right fit is everything. We have a first lesson guarantee, so if you don't get on with your first tutor for any reason, just email our support team at support@tutorful.co.uk and we will cover your first session with a new tutor.
How do you vet your Psychology tutors?
We're very selective. We only accept 1 in 8 tutors who apply. Every tutor is background-checked, interviewed by a member of our team, and has their qualifications verified to ensure they have the expertise to provide excellent, safe, and effective tuition.
How much do online Psychology tutors cost?
Our tutors set their own rates, typically starting from £15 an hour. Prices vary based on the tutor's experience and level of expertise. You can easily filter by price on our platform to find a brilliant tutor who fits your family's budget.
How often should my child have a session for A-level Psychology?
Most A-level students find a weekly one-hour session is ideal. This allows them to consolidate what they've learnt in school, work on challenging topics, and prepare for exams. However, you can arrange sessions as frequently as you need, especially in the run-up to mocks or final exams.
What equipment does my child need for online tutoring?
It's simple! All your child needs is a laptop or computer, a stable internet connection, and a webcam with a microphone. Our online classroom is browser-based, so there's no complicated software to install.
My child also needs help with Sociology. Can we find a tutor for that too?
Of course. We offer expert tutors across a huge range of subjects, from core academics like English and Maths to other social sciences like Sociology and Politics. You can find specialist support for all of your child's needs on our platform.
Can we get help with specific parts of the Psychology A-level, like the research methods paper?
Yes, absolutely. That's the beauty of one-to-one tutoring. The tutor will tailor sessions to your child's exact needs, whether that's mastering statistical analysis, improving evaluation points, or tackling the 'issues and debates' topic.
How much do online Psychology tutors cost?
You'll see it in their confidence first! Tutors also provide regular feedback, and you can message them anytime through our platform. Many parents notice a difference not just in test scores, but in their child's enthusiasm for the subject and their ability to tackle difficult problems independently.
