Booking an appointment with Jacqueline was a last ditch attempt to help my young son through a tough time at school. He had been struggling with multiplication tables that had once come very easy to him. Jacqueline was easy to communicate with, flexible and really listened to what he needed to progress and feel successful. He genuinely looked forward to his lessons and came out happy and playful from them. The result was a 25/25 on his times tables test!! What was even better was the confidence she gave him back. I couldn't recommend Jacqueline more highly. She changed math for him and put it right back where it belonged in his heart.

Alannah is an excellent tutor who explains clearly how to approach and answer exam questions. She adapts her teaching style to suit the way you learn, which genuinely makes a difference. I’ve had tutoring for over four years, from secondary school through to college, and she’s easily the best tutor I’ve had, especially when it comes to building confidence with examstyle questions. That confidence is one of the most important parts of revision once you understand the content, and she helps with that a lot. The lessons could be a bit more engaging or fun, but aside from that she’s an excellent tutor and especially well suited for college level study. She’s very knowledgeable and always able to answer any questions you have.

Excellent tuition for my daughter currently studying for GCSEs. She's in the top set but is not doing further maths like others in the set, so wanted the tuition as a top-up to stay up to speed. Kate has definitely helped with that.
