Find An Expert Maths Tutor For Learners In Bristol

Rebecca has been an incredible help with my son getting him ready for his maths GCSEs. From starting off on the foundation paper she has got him onto the higher paper within 6 months. He enjoys her lessons and she makes it so easy for him to understand. Would highly recommend Rebecca - she’s brilliant!

We have just started our lessons but my daughter is very pleased with Kate. For me it means that I chose the right teacher for her. And now I do believe that we will get what we want with the help from Kate. Thank you so much Kate.

Rosie was a fantastic Maths tutor for my 10-year-old son. Before working with her, he had become quite disheartened with Maths, and I was keen to find someone who could help rebuild his confidence while also stretching him and developing his skills. Rosie was patient, encouraging and supportive, with a lovely way of challenging him to think beyond his comfort zone without making him feel overwhelmed. The difference in how he felt about Maths was really noticeable. He began to feel much more positive about his abilities, and successfully tackling a challenging secondary-school Maths problem gave him a real boost. It was particularly rewarding to hear him say that he felt “solid” in his Maths again - something he hadn’t said for a while. I’m very grateful to Rosie for helping him regain his confidence and enjoyment of Maths. I’d happily recommend her to other parents looking for a tutor with a warm, supportive teaching style who adapts to a child’s needs, encourages them to reach their potential and helps them feel positive about learning.

Andy has been absolutely fantastic with my daughter, who is currently in Year 6 and preparing for her SATs. He has such a fun, positive and engaging approach to teaching, making maths enjoyable rather than something to worry about. He explains things clearly and makes the lessons feel relaxed and encouraging, which has really helped build her confidence. Most importantly, she genuinely looks forward to her lessons with him, which says it all! I would highly recommend Andy to anyone looking for a maths tutor who makes learning enjoyable.

Laura identified the underlying weak areas that needed correction, and has been fully invested in teaching the skills and knowledge to bring these up to the required level. She has been patient and thorough in her teaching, with the genuine intention that her student understands what is being explained to them. She has been generous with her time, and has honed the lessons to fit with the end objective of the student passing an exam. A thoughtful, and knowledgeable teacher.

Joseph is currently helping my son with GCSE maths and it’s going very well. Already seeing improvements in his work even after only 3 sessions. Good communication and getting a lot from his support.
