Despite having Kayla as a Mandarin teacher for a short while, i am already feeling very confident for my exams, and feel well-versed in basic to intermediate Mandarin. Kayla is extremely effective in providing scenarios to grow and flourish the learnt topics in- class. Out of class she consistently provides detailed useful class notes, support and homework. She is phenomenally skilled, patient and punctual, and provides these skills to every lesson. I leave each lesson feeling more prepared for my exams, and confident in approaching native speakers. Lok or Charlottie is a very pleasant young woman. She speaks perfect in English and is very good at giving consistent homework and breaking down the concepts of mandarin which would appear complex and show how easy it is in the lesson. It is important to know that you will not progress well if you do not prepare for lessons and revise words she will give you to learn. Additionally, before learning any language I think it is important to familiarise yourself with things like pronouns, verbs, adverbs, adjectives etc. If you are a pure beginner of chinese like myself I would recommend this person
