Yekta is a brilliant teacher, very patient and understanding and will go at a pace that suits you, she is very encouraging and makes you feel confident in what you’re saying/writing, she is always happy to help if you’ve got any questions whether it’s during the lesson or at home when practicing, just send her a text and she will help straight away, she recommends other sources that can help at home such as books and apps as well.
Yekta after a couple of lessons will speak mainly in Japanese during the lesson, which helps a lot as it helps you to understand the structure and pronunciation of words and sentences. The lessons are very well structured as well, they always lead on from the previous lesson and this stops any confusion and helps a lot with understanding as everything links together
I highly recommend Yekta, especially if you’re starting from scratch.

I never imagined I would enjoy learning a new language after my school years. Ikumi fosters a warm and welcoming environment, demonstrating patience and utmost professionalism. Her preparation for each lesson is impressive, and she even assigns homework when she's unable to conduct a session.
