Worked with Patrick on A level history. I have SEND, so needed someone dependable, with good interpersonal skills. Patrick fitted the bill entirely. Some of his strengths: Provides really clear explanations; didn't make me feel inadequate for needing support. Interactive teaching style; not a lecture, or reading out a prepared sheet. He has the knowledge, checks understanding and responds to the issues raised. Good combination of professional and friendly; lessons were not a drain. Flexible with times and dates. Timely responses to messages and 100% reliable. I would highly recommend :)

A fantastic historian who showed me how I could think more broadly and past what the exam board expected of me. Every discussion we had was a huge help in showing me how I should approach each question and single myself out to an examiner. I was able to form complex yet satisfying ideas in the exams with his help.
