Supported my son with his Graphic design A2 level. Wish we’d found him sooner, he’s made such a difference in such a short space of time, he’s very engaging, knowledgeable, flexible and brought my son out of his shell by being so patient and helpful, nothing was a bother and my son built a great rapport with him. Highly recommend 👌

Lili G
Lili is fantastic and i enjoy listening over the session she has with my son for A Level Graphic Design. She has her work cut out for her as my son is not the most talkative, but she doesn't let this deter her and she continues to try and build the rapport and be relatable to the topic of choice. She's very patient, funny and really probes and questions him further in order to make him think about the direction he wants to go and shares some really good examples of how he can look to explore this further. I can already see a change in him where he is starting to approach things differently and with Lili's help i'm confident over time this will become easier. Another great session.

Candice W
I have only had a couple of classes with Candice so far but I already know chosing her as my tutor was the right decision. I'm getting the sense that she is very good at adjusting to the needs of the individual student; wether it's concerning how to support me in areas I struggle with or knowing what my interests are and providing tasks I would find inspiring. Candice is very encouraging and provides structured classes and assignments so you never feel confused about what is expected of you. She always replies to messages and emails outside of class if you get stuck and need some extra help. I would warmly recommend her to everyone looking for a tutor in the subjects she teaches. Especially if confidence is an issue for you or you would like to improve your performance. Graphic Design was my weakest subject in my first year of A-Levels but now, with her help, I feel like I might actually be able to achieve the grade I want. On top of that the process feels fun and engaging again rather than frustrating and discouraging.

Brilliant Graphic Design tutors who you’ll really click with.
Our experienced tutors take the time to understand where each student needs to focus and their preferred way of learning. They make a measurable difference – 90% of all students improve by at least one grade.
Can a tutor help my child prepare a portfolio specifically for courses at the University of Gloucestershire or UWE Bristol?
Absolutely. Many of our Graphic Design tutors are industry professionals or university lecturers themselves. They have first-hand knowledge of what top creative courses are looking for and can guide your child in curating a portfolio that showcases their unique talent and technical skills, tailored to the specific requirements of universities like the University of Gloucestershire and UWE Bristol.
My child's school in Gloucester is very academic. Can a tutor help them balance their A-Levels with building a creative portfolio?
Yes, this is a common challenge and a tutor can be a huge help. They can work with your child to manage their time effectively, creating a structured plan that allows them to focus on their creative projects without letting their academic work slide. The tutor acts as a mentor, providing focus and encouragement to ensure both areas get the attention they need.
What happens if we don't click with the first tutor we try?
We know that the right fit is essential for learning. That's why we have our First Lesson Guarantee. If you don't get on with your tutor, email our support team at support@tutorful.co.uk and we will cover your first session with a new tutor.
How do I choose the right Graphic Design tutor for my child?
You can read detailed profiles for each tutor, which include their experience, qualifications, teaching style, and reviews from other parents. Many tutors also offer a short introductory chat before you book, so you and your child can make sure it feels like the right match.
Are all tutors background-checked?
Yes, the safety of our students is our top priority. Every single one of our UK-based tutors undergoes a thorough background check before they can start teaching on the platform. We are committed to providing a safe and trusted learning environment for your child.
How much does online Graphic Design tutoring cost?
Our tutors set their own hourly rates, which are displayed clearly on their profiles. Prices vary based on the tutor's experience and qualifications. This transparency allows you to find an expert tutor who fits your family's budget.
How do the online lessons work? What technology do we need?
All you need is a laptop or computer with a webcam, a microphone, and a stable internet connection. Lessons take place in our purpose-built online classroom, which includes an interactive whiteboard, video chat, and file sharing features, making it easy for your child to collaborate with their tutor on design projects.
How can a tutor help my child feel more confident about their creative abilities?
One-to-one attention from an expert can do wonders for confidence. A tutor provides a safe space for your child to ask questions, experiment with ideas, and receive constructive, positive feedback. Celebrating small wins and demystifying complex techniques helps them see their own progress and believe in their talent.
Are the tutors qualified to teach Graphic Design?
Yes. We take great care in selecting our tutors. Many are experienced designers, university graduates from top creative courses, or qualified teachers. We interview every applicant and only 1 in 8 who apply make it onto our platform, so you can be sure your child is learning from a knowledgeable and vetted professional.
How long should my child have tutoring for?
It really depends on your child's goals. Some students just need a few sessions to prepare a portfolio for a deadline, while others benefit from regular weekly support throughout their A-Levels. It's completely flexible and something you can discuss directly with your chosen tutor.
Do you only offer tutors for academic subjects, or can my child learn other skills too?
We offer tutoring in over 300 subjects! Beyond core academic support for things like GCSEs and A-Levels, your child can learn a new language, master a musical instrument like the guitar, or dive into practical skills like coding. It's all about helping them pursue their passions.
How do the online lessons work? What technology do we need?
You'll see it in their work and their confidence. Tutors provide regular feedback on your child's development, and you can chat with them through our messaging system to stay updated. The best sign of progress is often seeing your child feel more enthusiastic and capable in their subject.
