Amelia T
Passionate French tutor
I’m a tutor because I genuinely love it. I’ve been tutoring since 2016 (one-to-one and small groups), and I’m big on making learning feel less like a punishment and more like, “Oh… I can do this.” I’m patient, upbeat, and a bit of a professional translator of “confusing school wording” into plain English. If a student is anxious, overwhelmed, or convinced they’re “bad” at a subject, I’m the person who will gently prove them wrong — step by step, without judgement, and with a few laughs along the way. Progress matters, but confidence is usually the thing that unlocks it. My academic background ...

Kathy F
Creative French tutor
I hold a BA and MA from Royal Holloway, University of London, specialising in arts and humanities, giving me strong academic grounding across the subjects I teach.
I tutor English from Primary through to GCSE and Maths at primary level, including SATs preparation. I also offer History and French to GCSE. Having experienced first-hand the difference that one-to-one support can make to grades, I know what students need from extra tuition: clarity, patience, and sessions that feel constructive rather than stressful.
I adapt each session to the individual pupil, whether that means targeting...

Claire A
Daughter has been working with Claire for 3 months now for her A Level French. Claire has been amazing and everything is super easy on the app to communicate and change lesson dates when needed. Claire established a good rapport with our daughter from the start. Our daughter provided further glowing feedback: she is ‘low key a normal person’ and ‘helping me improve so much... She’s the first tutor you found that I actually like’.

Sasha W
I would recommend Sasha to help with A Level French without hesitation. She helped my daughter primarily with her speaking and writing exams. Sasha is friendly and approachable, and built a rapport quickly with my daughter, making her feel comfortable and confident! With the speaking exam, Sasha always prepared thorough and insightful questions to practice a ‘mock’ exam, giving her confidence and improving her analytical skills in French. In regards to the writing, Sasha was able to effectively identify which areas needed improvement the most, with constructive feedback. As a result, my daughter achieved an A* and achieved nearly full marks in the writing paper, and we have no doubt that Sasha’s input very much contributed to this. She is a fabulous tutor, thank you Sasha!!!
