Find an expert A-Level French tutor

I would recommend Sasha to help with A Level French without hesitation. She helped my daughter primarily with her speaking and writing exams. Sasha is friendly and approachable, and built a rapport quickly with my daughter, making her feel comfortable and confident! With the speaking exam, Sasha always prepared thorough and insightful questions to practice a ‘mock’ exam, giving her confidence and improving her analytical skills in French. In regards to the writing, Sasha was able to effectively identify which areas needed improvement the most, with constructive feedback. As a result, my daughter achieved an A* and achieved nearly full marks in the writing paper, and we have no doubt that Sasha’s input very much contributed to this. Catherine was a super Alevel French tutor. My daughter got a B. Catherine covered some key grammer rules that had been missed and this really helped with daughter’s understanding of the language which she is now studying with Politics at Edinburgh Uni, after a summer being an aupair in France. Frankie mentioned that students did not ordinarily ask to practise summaries but he was very well prepared with materials tailored to my needs. He guided me through the process step by step and provided examples across a wide range of topics, which helped build my confidence and improve my technique. We also spent one session focusing on French tenses, which was a useful refresher. Frankie was flexible in accommodating my schedule (I only had 5 sessions squeezed in the run-up to my mock exam). He was always prepared, knowledgeable and happy to tailor the sessions to suit my needs. Ideal for anyone looking for focused, effective support with French A-level revision.

Valerie is an absolutely amazing teacher - she is so good at explaining things in a way which I was able to understand and was also so kind and patient with me! Her lessons felt structured but still very personal and adapted specifically so I could get the best out of my lessons! She was also really organised and always got in touch if/when a lesson needed to be rearranged as soon as possible and gave us plenty of choice and flexibility with when I had my lessons so that it would suit me and fit my needs. I really enjoyed my French classes with her and I would 100% recommend.

Genevieve has been incredibly helpful and supportive of my daughter Abi in the build up to her French A Level exams.
