My son is really enjoying his sessions and although we have only just started he is keen to do more. He already feels they are benefiting him in not only English, but in the way he answers questions in his other subjects as well.

Janet is very patient, experienced and knowledgeable. I am so glad to see the good progress in my child's writing applying the techniques taught by Janet. Besides, she was flexible and supportive to adjust our lesson topics (e.g. comprehension) to help my child prepare better for the 11+ test.

Lee has helped me so much with my understanding of gcse English. The way he teaches is not only engaging but helpful in many ways also he incorporate his students interests into his teaching styles to create a much more freeing environment and also teach in a way which relates more to his students. Phil has been an incredible tutor for my son, Henry. From the very start, Henry has really appreciated Phil’s kind and patient approach. When explaining a quote, it can be useful to take the time to explain the imagery to help add more detail to your answer and then link this to the reader.” This kind of feedback is so valuable - it helps Henry reflect on what went well and shows him where he can grow, while also keeping me in the loop about his progress. Phil's encouragement, adaptability, and clear teaching style have made a huge difference to Henry’s confidence and enjoyment of English.
