When studying Economics, you couldn’t have a better tutor than Eliot. Eliot has seemingly perfect knowledge of the Edexcel A-level economics specification. Any time I have come to a lesson with a specific topic to run through, I have always left the lesson feeling confident on that topic, even if it's one I have struggled with for some time at school. Both inside and outside the lessons, I can see that Eliot is working hard to make his students better economists. One part of Eliot’s tutoring that has stood out to me is his knowledge of the exam techniques required to get an A*. While my school teachers helped with providing content, what changed my exam performance was writing essays in the way Eliot described. I’ve come to understand that Edexcel look for a specific structure of essays which Eliot teaches perfectly. This has allowed me to achieve an A* in both my end of Year 12 and Year 13 mock exams. 
 Eliot has also been outstanding at helping me improve my economic understanding of the real world. He was a great help with my personal statement, and the essay that I had to submit to Princeton University. Eliot has been amazing at helping me understand real-world economic concepts that I hope to continue learning about after A-Levels. Over my time with Eliot, I have enjoyed our conversations about how higher national insurance contributions have affected the labour market, and the mistakes Britain has made that have left us with such high energy prices. The discussion of these ideas has led me to take a specific interest in economics and has helped me receive offers to study Economics at multiple top 10 UK universities.
