    Making Dyslexia approachable and intuitive
    £62/hr

As a visual learner myself, my teaching style is heavily based on graphical elements as well as real-world analogies. It’s a struggle trying to learn a subject when all you can think of is “how/when will I ever use this in my career?!”. This is what I’m here for! I’m friendly (or so I’ve been told…), experienced, and love explaining complex ideas in an intuitive manner. Not only that, I can also help you understand the expectations within the Computer Science industry (+ related fields), the current state of the job market here in the UK and internationally, and how to ace interviews at the top te...

Hello:) my name is Sara and I'm currently in my third year of Medicine at University. I've tutored for 5 years now, 2 of them being online on a tutoring platform. My tutoring experience ranges from 9 years old to 18 so far. I'm very aware of how to adapt my tutoring style depending on the age (and learning style!) of the student. Usually I run lessons with the following structure: We start off by going through the theory of the topic (agreed on the lesson before or over messages). Once the student is confident in the theory, we will go over "text-book" questions - these are questions which clearly...

Fiona G
Dyslexia tutor
Our 8 year old son Henry really enjoys his lessons with Fiona. He’s usually quite a shy little boy, when he initially meets someone new, but Fiona was able to put him at ease almost immediately. We can see that he’s already feeling more confident with his work and that this translates into his school work. We’re confident that the learning schedule that Fiona has put in place will benefit Henry tremendously. We’d highly recommend Fiona as a tutor.

Anne K
Dyslexia tutor
My daughter is dyslexic, with high iq but she finds reading writing very difficult as result of this she is struggling at school we tried to get help for her studies, but unfortunately not many people or teachers know how best to help her. Anne was excellent from the first lesson she understood my daughters way of learning and explained to us now we know how to help her to some degree. After couple of lessons we have made substantial progress, her teaching technique is very effective and her kind, considered and approachable personality make the whole experience very pleasant.

Jane is an engaging and enthusiastic teacher who really understands the best way to work with my son. She tailors our lessons to fit his interests and as a result he really enjoys his lessons and doing his homework - something we don't get at school. I'm so pleased we have found her!
