Just two lessons in and Helen has already put me at ease and enabled me to believe that I might not have two left hands after all. As possibly one of her older students she’s been patient and encouraging, and communication has been both excellent and accommodating. Having previously attempted to learn instruments and failed miserably I cannot recommend Carl highly enough as not only has he got me playing the drums, he is also successfully teaching me to read music, something other tutors have tried but failed to do. From the very first lesson of setting up the drums Carl has taught theory alongside the playing of the drums in a manner, that it is not a chore but enjoyable and makes sense to the practical playing of the drums without confusing which has not happened with other tutors. I am very pleased with my progress which has been greatly helped by the relaxed way in which it is taught and would not hesitate to recommend Carl to anybody interested in learning to play the drums.

My 9 year old son is being taught by Sam to play drums. Sam is always encouraging and teaches at just the right pace. The biggest endorsement is probably from my son, who always enjoys his lessons and looks forward to the next one! Sam is a friendly and personable teacher, which also helps to make the whole session even more enjoyable.

Toby is simply an excellent drum tutor. He is knowledgable, attentive and able to get great results. Furthermore, he personalises his tuition and is highly flexible to meet the needs of his students. We have been getting drumming lessons online with Toby for a few weeks now and my kids and I (who all get tutored by him) are all making rapid progress and thoroughly enjoying the experience. Can't recommend him highly enough.
