Amy is really helpful as I have been struggling with biology. I really engage with her different teaching methods e.g flashcards and applying to real exam techniques. If i don' know something Amy will never hesitate to keep rexplaining in differemt ways with diagrams, words etc. Active recall has really helped me recall information. Amy does different exam boards too so is specific to what you will be questioned on. Overall, definitely reccomend Amy!

How does online tutoring actually work for Biology lessons?
Our online lessons happen in an interactive virtual classroom. It features a shared whiteboard, document sharing, and live video and audio. Tutors can upload diagrams, share exam questions, and explain complex biological concepts just as effectively as in person. Plus, lessons can be recorded for your child to review later!
Will online tutoring help my child build confidence in Biology?
Absolutely. One-to-one tutoring creates a safe, supportive space where your child can ask questions without feeling judged. Their tutor will celebrate small wins, explain concepts in a way that clicks for them, and build their understanding step-by-step, which naturally boosts confidence and reduces anxiety around the subject.
Are the online Biology tutors qualified and safe for my child?
Yes, your child's safety and learning are our top priorities. We have a rigorous vetting process, accepting only 1 in 8 tutors who apply. All tutors undergo ID verification, an enhanced DBS check, and we ensure they have the subject expertise and teaching skills to provide high-quality, safe lessons.
How often should my child have online Biology lessons?
The ideal frequency often depends on your child's goals and how quickly they need to progress. Many parents find weekly sessions work well for consistent progress, but some opt for more frequent lessons during exam periods or less often for ongoing support.
