I've been teaching across both Key Stage 1 (Infants) and Key Stage 2 (Juniors) for almost 18 years.
After working as a Deputy Head teacher, Key Stage 1 and 2 co-ordinator, Maths and English lead, I decided to have my own children - what a shock to the system that was! After my second child, I decided to work part time - enabling me to spend more time with my family (I am also a foster carer) and also to use some of my spare time tutoring.
I consider myself an engaging and lively teacher and feel I have a particular strength in explaining difficult concepts in simple, easy to understand ways. My wealth of experience also means I have a lot of tricks and tips to help children make progress quickly.
I have a huge amount of experience working with SEND (Special Needs) children and children with behavioural issues.
My positive, encouraging attitude is vital in improving a childs confidence in their own ability- the first step in enabling progress and effective learning to take place.
I also have a current and clear DBS (previously known as CRB), available for you to see.
ONLY SATURDAY MORNING (OR FLEXIBLE MIDWEEK 10AM-2PM FOR HOME ED CHILDREN) AVAILABLE AS ALL OTHER SESSIONS HAVE BEEN FILLED.
