Bonjour! I am Evelise, your private French/Dutch teacher (QTS).
I was born in Belgium as a native French speaker. After gaining my teaching qualification in Belgium in 2003, I taught Dutch and English in several public schools in French-speaking Belgium. I moved to England in 2008 where I have taught French to a variety of people with different backgrounds since then. I have lived in different places around Merseyside and Chester and I am now settled in Bromborough with my partner Rob.
In 2012, I started ballet dancing and I developed a passion for it. I have a second passion: music. I have been singing and playing bass guitar (self-taught) in a rock band based in Liverpool for about a year now. On top of that, I’m interested in several things: history, cooking, reading, art.
I have worked in different companies in Liverpool and Chester. I worked as a customer service agent, a Service desk analyst and as an Account Payable administrator. I am now looking forward to becoming a full time private French teacher.
How I teach
I always try to suit my students’ needs by providing them with a flexible schedule and varied learning techniques such as reading articles/books, listening to the news/programs/podcasts, having conversations, vocabulary/grammar exercises.
