I am a qualified teacher with a PGCE; specializing in physics. I posses wide-ranging technical experience, which I have developed during the last 27 years. A keen amateur astronomer and earth scientist, I am a member of my local astronomy society and the Geologists' Association. I am also a keen science learner, qualified to postgraduate level. I have undertaken courses in astronomy, physics, biology, earth science, chemistry and maths as part of my degree profiles. I have experience in creating and providing science education at KS3, KS4 and A level; specializing in physics and chemistry. I am also experienced at travelling to schools to present science shows. I am currently running a mobile planetarium, bringing astronomy, physics, earth science and maths to schools throughout the UK. I am familiar with UK science curricula, and am able to help devise individual strategies in order to help maximize success in exams.
I strongly recommend Ady to anyone looking for a science tutor for their child. Ady tutored my son, Dylan, for GCSE Chemistry and Physics for 4 months and his enthusiasm, knowledge and ability to engage with Dylan was fantastic.
