I am a graduate of Nottingham University where I studied French and Hispanic studies (Spanish). I have had much experience in teaching during my year abroad where I taught English to all ages in France and Peru, which was a thrilling experience! Now I am living in London pursuing my first passion Acting after attending Bristol Old Vic Theatre school, however I'd like to keep my languages going and I think the best way to do this is to teach as I also enjoy it very much!
Being an actor I think language is very important and if the opportunity arises to learn more languages then it's important to take it as it's a very important skill to have and its a joy to impart my skill onto others!
I would go about tutoring by asking what the pupil would like to work on and their strengths and weaknesses. I believe it's better to know where the pupil is at with their level of understanding and to improve that as much as possible. If the tutoring is for exams then I would like to know what working books and qualifications they are working on so I can be on the same page as them. If it's someone who wants to learn as an extra skill or hobby then I am happy to do whatever it is they would like to work on.
