I tutor in English Language and Literature, French, Italian, German, Spanish and Latin. I have over 7 years experience in 1-1 tutoring, so I am comfortable teaching a variety of exam boards (CIE, AQA, Edexcel, OCR) and also helping more casual learners or adult learners with specific goals.

I regularly tutor at degree level. I am an approved AQA examiner, qualified to mark exam papers in both English Literature and Language GCSE and A Level.

I love learning of all kinds and I hope to pass on this enthusiasm to my students. I provide a professional, yet friendly and welcoming environment where students are encouraged to learn and also to enjoy their subjects. My students often boost their grades dramatically within a few months, or achieve fluency in a language within a year.

Each person learns best in his or her own particular way, so I provide personalised lesson plans to meet the individual needs of my students.

I have been very passionate about languages since I was young. I lived in Tuscany, Italy and studied Italian there but I also speak French, German, Spanish and Latin. I`m half Pakistani so I grew up with Urdu and Hindi. I now speak around 8 languages to a greater or lesser degree.

I love reading and writing. I write short stories, essays and poetry, and Ive had several essays and poems published. I recently exhibited some of my poems as part of an exhibition in Perth, Australia.

I also adore animals and manage a dog rescue charity called [contact detail removed]. I have two cats and three dogs, who are the lights of my life.

I’ve learnt a lot from just the very first lesson, especially in how to write the perfect essay which I wasn’t taught at school. I’m positive my grades will improve and I feel much more confident to sit my exams
at the end of the year, knowing the skills and techniques that I do now.

My son had Natasha for a trial lesson for English Literature and he is really happy with her so far, and wants to continue having lessons in the future.
