My aim is to help develop and inspire other. Working on a 1 to 1 basis, I will make sure to tailor my lessons to your needs and help you gain the ability and confidence you desire.
With over 15 years of professional experience I understand the importance of passion and drive. I aim to help anyone at any age whether you want to play as a hobby or professionally.
I teach my students the importance of the right technique and posture. You will learn to sight read as well as play by the ear. In a fun and relaxed atmosphere you will learn the ins and outs of music theory such as: notation, key signatures, rhythm, dynamics, melody and articulation. I will make sure to find suitable exercises to strengthen your playing and to prepare you for more challenging pieces ahead. However my most important mission whilst teaching piano is something that most teachers overlook and that is to encourage passion right from the beginning in a no-pressure environment. I follow the current exam boards such as ABRSM and Trinity College London.
During our singing lessons I will teach you the necessities for developing and looking after your voice. Learning through specific exercises and working with the songs that you are passionate about. We will focus on enhancing the style of singing that you are interested in whether that's pop/rock/soul/musical theatre or classical. I also highly encourage development of your own artistic style and can help you with any songwriting/composition that you might be struggling with. I can also provide knowledge and practice of the equipment used for gigs such as: mic techniques and adding different effects onto your vocals. I like to make sure that my students feel confident whilst singing wether they are singing as a hobby or aspiring to be professional singers.
Personally I have been teaching for over 5 years. Whether that's as a support teacher at Outwood Academy Adwick, giving private singing, music theory and piano tuition or coaching pupils through exams and competitions. I can make sure that you are happy with the progress we will be making.
I also have some personal music experiences and accomplishments including: collaborating on a project for a Grammy Award winning songwriter, collaborating with schools in Germany and Denmark, writing for solo projects, being involved in studio work for various labels including EMI, having function band experience, being a part of Leeds College of Music Contemporary Rock and Pop Choir and being a session singer for studios around UK.

I literally just started getting lessons with Agata ahead of a major public performance for an album launch. Even the advice from her first lesson proved to be invaluable (:
Excellent; really enjoying the lessons and the way in which they are taught. Brilliant.
She's been so amazing, she's very patient and fun. I'm quite shy and with Agata she's great at making me feel more confident in myself.
Wonderful teacher, very welcoming and informative. I enjoy her lessons a lot.
