A Spanish, English and Humanities tutor, I am an English Studies graduate, having completed my studies in Spain and England.
I am a diligent, ambitious administrative and education professional with over 10 years of experience working in fast-paced environments. I am trustworthy, ethical, discreet and confident and poised in interactions with individuals at all levels.
I am currently studying a MA in Comparative Literature at UCL.
As a private tutor in Spain, I created and implemented lesson plans for small groups of 6-8 students’ average in the basics of grammar & conversation (English and Spanish), at the same time working with high-school students facing difficulties with Mathematics and Science. I also helped to teach under-privileged students attending an after-school tutoring programme.
As a secondary school teacher in Sofia, Bulgaria, I developed English lesson plans in line with the national curriculum, and evaluated the students' academic and personal profiles on a monthly, quarterly and yearly basis to contact with parents and rest of the teaching staff.
I also acted as a teacher at a summer English camp in Madrid, Spain, for children aged 5 to 13 years old and effectively handled all aspects of planning curriculum and activities. I established and taught lessons on relevant children's books, poems, movies and themes to promote student interest.
