I completed my undergraduate degree in 2014. I studied Philosophy, Politics and Economics and the University of Oxford and was awarded a 2:1. I completed my PGCE at the University of Bristol in 2016 and have been working as a Maths teacher in Bristol schools since then. In my PGCE I was graded as outstanding in my classroom practice and awarded a distinction for my written work. I have a full and current DBS check.
I have experience of teaching all year groups from Year 7 to Year 11 and of teaching different sized classes, including small group interventions and one-to-one. I am a highly competent teacher and I am seeking a tutoring position to develop my knowledge and practice of the new GCSE specification. I have just left a teaching post in Bristol and I am now working three days a week for an education charity, and so from February I will have capacity to take on several new students. Please get in touch if you are interested.
A little about me personally - I am 25 years old, with a keen interest in cycling, cooking and music. I am based near the arches on Gloucester Road, but I would consider traveling up to an hour on a bike/public transport from here. I look forward to hearing from you.
