Maths Tutor: Bio: AUTHOR & 'Cover Supervisor' in over a dozen schools around Cleveland (delivering OCR, Edexcel and AQA Maths; with a focus on passing exam papers) I'm now with Tutorful (formerlyTutora) and I'm here to help. * I have a Fine Art degree and I use this creative edge to teach a whole range of subjects within Secondary Schools. There is an emphasis on comprehending questions and nothing is ever too-hard; it merely requires more-time. I have prepared a few hand-outs to address difficult concepts. So if you are struggling, resitting or merely preparing for the future then drop me a line. As preparation... (for GCSE students ) please let me know which 'examining board' you expect to face (i.e. OCR, EDEXCEL or AQA etc) During lesson#1 -I'll directly address the topics YOU currently face; maybe a homework. You will find the first lesson very rewarding. [For regular clients: If for any 'major' or 'minor' reason a lesson needs to be cancelled; please inform Tutorful with enough time to be able to inform me, thank you.] I completed my 1st placement on the PGCE Secondary ITT for the the University of Northumbria (St.Joseph's, Gateshead)
Karl is an excellent tutor. He makes maths interesting and much more understandable for my son. It took him a few minutes to explain something my son spent three school lessons on and still didn't understand. Lots of 'Aha!' moments which are music to my ears. Great work, Karl, and many thanks!!
Karl is excellent. My daughter really struggles with confidence in maths. He is so much patience with her and a genuine desire to see her succeed. My daughter has taken to him so well, she's always upbeat after her lesson and her confidence is improving after each lesson. I would definitely recommend.
My son took to Karl straight away. He was patient and built his confidence almost immediately. My son has enjoyed his lessons and, in his words, "it all makes sense now"
Karl has a relaxed and nice nature yet instils confidence in the learner. Would definitely recommend him.
