I am a friendly, professional tutor in GCSE and A Level Law, Sociology and Psychology. As well as how to research and write a successful Extended Project Qualification.
I achieved a full A Level in Law, Psychology, and Sociology; as well as an AS Level in Health and Social Care, at Lowestoft Sixth Form College. While there I also wrote an excellent Extended Project Qualification. All of my grades achieved whilst at Sixth Form amounts to 130 UCAS tariff points (or equal to the older system). I am currently in my second year studying BSc (Hons) Psychology and Criminology, at the University of Suffolk. After-which I am planning to gain a PGCE to then become a Psychology Teacher as my full-time career.
My teaching approach works best with students working alongside these subjects as part of their school or college study. When helping a student revise or write assignments my main goal is not to script the information into their head but to help them really understand what they are being taught. I am very approachable and strive to get my students to their 'Eureka!' moment of fully understanding something. I believe that no question is stupid or too small as sometimes it is the smallest details that help one piece together the perfect understanding and confidence in their subject. I am patient and encouraging with all learning styles and abilities. As it was not too long ago that I was in my student's shoes I can empathize completely with what they are going through.
