With 93% of employers wanting to see soft skills on your CV, having a hobby really helps you to demonstrate that you have them. For example, if you lead a local scout group you are using leadership, initiative, and communications skills as well as empathy required when looking after children.

Having something to talk passionately about in interviews and in-person statements, shows you are more than just your exam results. If you have a love for language or music or many other subjects, then Tutorful offers a wide range of courses to help you to progress in these hobbies.

Hobbies that can boost your CV include

Sports

Music

Dance

Blogging

Reading

Politics
