The Heritage Centre contains 4 permanent galleries exhibiting the social and industrial history of Crewkerne and district set in an historic Grade 2 listed building. If children find "Billy" in the gallery he shows them there is an activity to enjoy. Digital pens also act as guides for either adults or children to add to the stories about the past. 3 special exhibitions annually adding to the interest and focus on both local and national events and research projects. An enclosed courtyard provides a quiet place to enjoy the garden and relax. A large collection of old photographs help to tell the stories of the past. A small shop provides unique souvenirs of the town, a range of books about a variety of local subjects and some pocket money items for children. Research facilities are available for those interested in their ancestors or wishing to discover the story of their house.
