SATs Maths – Converting capacity/volume - Topic specific help
How do we find out how many millilitres we can find in a whole litre? How do we go from litres back to millilitres? We’ll find out! The aim is to help your child understand this maths concept that they’ll need to know for their SATs exams (and in general, their maths classes going all the way to GCSE).

We will be learning about the relationship between different metric units used for measuring capacity/volume. Including L and ml. We’ll make sure we have a solid understanding of how to go from one to the other, and then we’ll apply it to some real-life scenarios.

I work with children aged 6-10, in a Montessori school. Previously I have been both a leader within Girl Guiding, and a Session's Overseer at Butterflies Haven (a charity helping families with children on the autism spectrum).
