This class is aimed at students leaving Year 11 and about to start College/Sixth Form. We will look at a range of strategies for you to utilise to help you fulfil your potential and smash your A-Levels!

In week one, we will look at the main differences between GCSE and A-Level as well as what to expect for your teachers, classmates and College/Sixth Form.

Week 2 will focus on specific things you can do over the summer break to enhance your chances of success at A-Level and set you apart from other students.

Week 3 will focus on organisation and it's critical importance to success at A-Level. We will look at different strategies successful students employ to organise themselves, their time and their resources.

Week 4 will revolve around examining different revision strategies, their benefits, drawbacks and scientific grounding. This will also include some cognitive science as we will look at how your brain works and how you can capitalise on this.

Week 5 will focus on an undervalued and under-utilised skill - note-taking. Effective note-taking can be a real game-changer at A-Level. We will look at the reasons why and a variety of different note-taking approaches you could adopt.

The final week will look at the importance of looking to the future and identifying what you want to achieve later in life. The best students have clear goals that they work towards from Day One.
