This class is designed to support children who enjoy or need a little extra support in their phonics skills! We cover everything from sound and letter recognition, blending and segmenting and reading and writing skills! All done in a fun and interactive way to make Phonics learning as fun as possible!

Session 1

Activity 1 - A quick recall game to practise sounds, digraphs, trigraphs and tricky words. Activity 2 - Look at 1 or 2 specific sounds/words and how to read, write, and identify them in a range of ways using games. Activity 3 - A variety of oral/written blending and segmenting games. Activity 4 - A reading or writing activity to finish the session.

About me
I have been a teacher for 8 years now. I have mainly specialised in Early Years Education (0 to 5 years old) for the majority of my career but have spent a significant amount of time in Primary Education as well.

What is a small group class?
- A class is a series of live lessons held online with up to 9 other similarly aged students and a single tutor.
