This class is for students who have completed Year 11 and are preparing to begin College/Sixth Form. We'll look at a variety of ways to help you reach your full potential and achieve A/A* for your A-Level Chemistry regardless of your exam board.

We'll go through the major differences between GCSE and A-Level in week one, as well as what to anticipate from your instructors, classmates, and College/Sixth Form. We will recap some concepts from GCSE which will be needed for A level Chemistry such as mole caluculations

.Week 2 will be all about organisation and how important it is for A-Level achievement. We'll look at how successful students organise themselves, their time, and their resources using various ways.

Week 3 will concentrate on note-taking, an underrated and underutilised ability. At A-Level, effective note-taking may be a game-changer. We'll look at why this is, as well as several other note-taking strategies you may use including examples from topics of A level Chemistry.

We will start the first topic in Chemistry A level which is atomic structure and mass spectroscopy.

In this session, we will cover the topic: amount of substance with exam-style questions.

In the last week, we will focus on a clear plan to start your A level with more confidence and focus. We will also finish practice on mole calculations and ideal gas equations.
