This class is for students who have completed Year 11 and are preparing to begin College/Sixth Form. We'll look at a variety of ways to help you reach your full potential and achieve A/A* for your A-level Biology regardless of your exam board.

In week one, we will look at the main differences between GCSE and A-Level Biology as well as how to plan your study hours, materials, etc.

In week 2, we will discuss different revision strategies, their benefits, drawbacks and scientific grounding. We will look also at the reasons why a variety of different note-taking approaches you could adopt with real examples from A level Biology topics.

In week 3, we will start the first topic of A level Biology which is the cellular structure, difference between eukaryotic and prokaryotic cells and microscopy techniques.

In week 4, we will study together the carbohydrates molecules as the first biological molecules we study at A level as well as planning for future one-to-one sessions.
