GCSE Book Club - 1984 by George Orwell
In these sessions, we will read the book together and discuss the features including linking this to the GCSE syllabus. This is an opportunity to go through the text in more detail, ask questions, study it together and create a bank of knowledge about the story and its context.

In this session, we will be looking at Chapters 1-4. We will discuss the context, the type of text and what is happening in this part of the story. We will also use some study notes to help us to understand the chapters in more detail.
Session 2

In this session, we will be looking at Chapters 6-9. We will discuss the context, the type of text and what is happening in this part of the story. We will also use some study notes to help us to understand the chapters in more detail.
Session 3
60 mins
In this session, we will be looking at Chapters 10-14. We will discuss the context, the type of text and what is happening in this part of the story. We will also use some study notes to help us to understand the chapters in more detail.
Session 4
60 mins
In this session, we will be looking at Chapters 15-20. We will discuss the context, the type of text and what is happening in this part of the story. We will also use some study notes to help us to understand the chapters in more detail.
Session 5
60 mins
In this session, we will be looking at Chapters 20 to the end of the book. We will discuss the context, the type of text and what is happening in this part of the story. We will also use some study notes to help us to understand the chapters in more detail. As this is our final session, we will discuss our thoughts and opinions of the text.
