Do you like art? And History? Then this is the course for you. This course looks at a variety of artists whose artworks correspond to significant important historical events, such as the Cold War and the Civil Rights Movement. Sessions encourage students to think about themes of war, identity and feelings and the methods artists use to present them in paintings. During sessions, students will be asked to search the internet for more artists that align both with the theme of the session, and their own likings.
