An Introduction to Academic Writing
Workshop aim: To gain knowledge surrounding the basics of academic writing. This workshop includes an overview of how to research effectively, the benefits of proper planning, academic writing tips and the basics of Harvard referencing. All students will be able to interact with the Tutor at any time during session delivery and will also have opportunities to talk about their own academic writing experiences to date, together with any queries or questions they may have.

This session is designed to give students an introduction to what it means to be writing academically at Level 3 [A Level / BTEC] and above. If you are starting a course at this level in September, or are going into your 2nd year of studying and would like some support then this is the workshop for you!
