Become a Teacher
One of the best ways to ensure you properly understand a topic is to teach it to someone else. If you’re able to explain a complicated physics theory well enough for your parents to understand, chances are that you’ve nailed it!
Having a go at explaining it to someone else will allow you to see it from another point of view – get them to ask questions and it might highlight gaps in your knowledge that you are able to go away and fill.
Ask Questions
The main problem with school is that one teacher has to split their time and attention between 30ish children. There are some areas your child will naturally excel in, and others where they may need a bit of extra help.

Use Your Home as Your Notebook
What do you do whilst brushing your teeth? Stare at the wall? Read the backs of your shampoo bottles for the 5,000th time?
This is the perfect opportunity for some last-minute cramming. Write out important bullet points on post-it notes and fill your house with them!
It’s a great way to visualise your notes when you’re sitting in your exam. You will be able to think back to being in the bathroom and seeing the note with the formula you need stuck to your mirror.
